We are looking for a customer service-focused Duty Manager to join our fun and energetic team. You’ll be part of a group of like-minded individuals committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. While your role will primarily focus on Rooms Division , there will be occasions where you will support food operations as needed.

No prior Duty Management experience? No problem! Training will be provided to help you grow into the role, making this an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your hospitality career. You will also gain valuable exposure to yielding and rate management, further enhancing your skill set.

Skills & Attributes

  • Experience with RoomMaster Software or similar is highly desirable.
  • A passion for delivering genuine, energetic customer service .
  • Previous hotel experience in a Front Office GSA/Supervisor role is highly desirable, or a skill set transferable to the hotel industry.
  • A positive attitude and friendly disposition—a true team player!
  • You are warm, welcoming, and love connecting with people .
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both guests and colleagues.
  • Well-presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills .

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise, support, and train Front Office Team Members.
  • Lead by example in providing passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly service to all guests.
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning .
  • Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and banking procedures .
  • Implement strategies to increase team productivity and morale .
  • Provide recommendations and information on local attractions .
  • Maintain current knowledge of room rates, available packages, and market trends.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel while on shift.
  • Be the face of the hotel —deliver professional, courteous service with a big smile!

Hours of Work

  • Duty Managers work five shifts across a 7-day rotating roster .
  • Shifts include both AM (07:00-15:00) and PM (15:00-23:00) rotations , including weekends and public holidays .
  • Candidates should consider their flexibility and ability to travel to meet the required shift times.
