Description:
When you imagined what dental assisting would be like, you thought about the opportunity to help and care for people. What you got was a team and a practice that you didn't really gel with. Their purpose seemed like it focused more on seeing higher quantity of patients, rather than the quality of care they received. Helping a practice to grow with that focus doesn't quite give you the drive and satisfaction from your career that you'd hoped for.
At Reef Dental Centre, we know an exceptional patient experience must come first. We're about building relationships, the dentistry comes after. Our patients and community are the best, and crave a kind and compassionate person to help them acheive their dental goals.. It's not just up to the dentists to produce this service, its a team effort. Our dental assistants play a pivotal role in the patient experience and are encouraged to prioritise this.
About Us:
Nestled just a short drive from the sun-kissed beaches, our practice offers more than just dental care – its an experience. Our recently renovated, modern facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment (3D scanning, Digital smile design, high comfort dental chairs and ceiling TVs), providing our team with the tools they need to deliver top-notch care.
At Reef Dental Centre, we’re passionate about creating beautiful smiles and lasting relationships. Our boutique-level service extends beyond dental procedures – its about making each patient feel valued and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. Our practice is built on a foundation of compassion, excellence and continuous improvement.
Your Role:
As our Part-time Dental Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role with our patients in helping them have a fun and relaxed experience at the dentist and hence maximise their health outcomes. We are a collabrative team and opinion matters, do you know how we can improve, we want to know how! Which is why you will have ongoing training from within and outside of the practice. You’ll work closely with our patients, dentists and other administrative/clinical staff to streamline the operations and enhance the overall patient experience.
If you thrive on a dynamic role that allows you to branch out into helping other areas of the practice, such as administration/reception, this is surely the role for you.
This is a part-time role, with 2-3 days and more if you're also experienced in administrative/reception duties and a high performing candidate looking for a dynamic role.
