About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will support the Hub Manager in leading a team of employees and volunteers, ensuring that quality Social Support Group services are delivered in a enjoyable and inviting environment. This role involves overseeing client assessments, service planning, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance in accordance with policy and procedure and relevant standards.

We are looking for a compassionate Team Leader with a background in community services or aged care. You should be able to manage multiple priorities, supervise a diverse team, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

This role is based in Wangara, and offered on a permanent part time basis (Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm, or similar)

Pay rate: $37.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake day to day oversight and administration of our group Social Support programs within guidelines.
  • Plan and schedule the Social Support monthly calendar of events.
  • Ensure that appropriate client records and data on services is maintained, and that regular evaluations of client need and service delivery occur.
  • Ensure that client information is up to date and available for employees and/or volunteers to read before working with the client.
  • Regularly review client and volunteer needs.
  • Develop service delivery plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Uphold wellness and client focused service delivery principles.
  • Train and support employees and volunteers for transport and social support services, ensuring that employees/volunteers under direct supervision fulfill the requirements of their position descriptions.
  • Roster employees and volunteers as needed, manage employee and/or volunteer leave to reduce impact on services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications in community services, aged care, disability, or individual support (Diploma or Certificate).
  • Experience in working in aged care and/or disability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, including food safety regulations. Willingness to undertake relevant Food Safety Supervisor training.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet physical demands of the role.
  • National Criminal History Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

Desirable:

  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
