About the Role
We're on the hunt for a Desktop Engineer Level 2 who is eager to join the dynamic Perth based Bekkers team and support their clients through Australia and New Zealand.
You should have at least 2 year's experience working on a service desk (MSP preferred) managing incidents and service requests through the ticketing system relating to desktop support, infrastructure and security.
Day to day you will work on the service desk and assist with the following:
- Server troubleshooting (On-premise & Cloud)
- User account and access management
- O365 and Exchange incident response and request fulfillment
- End User Compute preparation and setup
- Security incident response
- Azure and Active Directory Administration
- OneDrive and SharePoint incident response and request fulfillment
- Networking troubleshooting
- Firewall and remote access management
- Laptop/Desktop troubleshooting
- WAN/LAN troubleshooting
- Router troubleshooting
- End-User service and peripheral troubleshooting
What sort of person are we looking for?
- Ability to deal with busy, high-pressure situations
- Familiar with the ticketing system, ConnectWise Manage (experience with N-Able N-Central will be Highly Regarded).
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to Detail, follow-up on outstanding items
- High level of customer service and ability to comply with Service Management processes
- Proficient in Windows Server suite, Backup Applications & virtual environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Laptop, Desktop's & basic Wi-FI systems with desktop productivity experience
- Good understanding of current technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Skills / Certifications:
- Tertiary Qualification (Degree, Tafe)
- Microsoft Certified (windows 10, Server)
- Minimum 4+ years in an IT support role where troubleshooting is key

- A commencing salary of $75-$90K plus superannuation will be offered dependant on qualifications and experience (a higher salary will be considered for an exceptional candidate).
- Working hours of 3:30am to 1pm (will be 4:30am to 2pm when daylight saving ends) Monday – Friday.
- Hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
