About the position:
A rare opportunity has emerged for an experienced and highly skilled Bulk Product Technician or Specialist to provide bulk product technical support and expertise to our internal and external customers.

This role has become available due to an upcoming retirement of one of our long-term employees. To ensure a smooth transition, you will have a thorough handover period.

Reporting to the EMTS Manager West, you will join our Enaex Mining Technical Solutions (EMTS) team in the West region of our business. You will provide quality training and technical advice in the implementation of best practice associated with the application and delivery of bulk product technology. Working closely with our technical and operations teams, you will implement core site-based requirements, while ensuring all bulk products are manufactured and delivered as per our TDS parameters.

Key responsibilities include:
• Implement best practice process and procedures associated with Bulk product technology, delivery, and application
• Provide technical support to sites with the calibration, settings, commissioning, and operation of MPU’s
• Advise and assist internal stakeholders to ensure all work processes are current and consistent with Company requirements, objectives, and relevant legislation
• Support the scoping and delivery of site based technical projects
• Facilitate professional development training and workshops for bulk product awareness
• Support research and develop initiatives to resolve problem areas and develop a process of continuous improvement
• Provide technical support in the investigation of incidents and issues
• Contribute to a safe and respectful working environment

Essential Requirements:
• Proven Technical experience in a mining, customer driven environment
• Demonstrated experience in both open cut and underground mining
• Experience working with explosives or within the explosives industry
• Demonstrated understanding of bulk product testing process
• Knowledge of bulk product approval process, testing and compliance
• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to confidently liaise with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of knowledge transfer
• Sound background in delivery of multiple projects
• Competent computer user with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
• Current drivers’ licence

Desirable Requirements:
• Familiarity across both Bulk and EIS products highly regarded
• Trade or tertiary qualifications (chemistry/laboratory, mining engineer highly regarded)
• MPU operational and/or shotfiring experience
• Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
