  • Assist young people to identify, their goals, utilising Better Futures
  • Provide individual mentoring and coaching to young people
  • SCHADS Level 5.1 + Super, Part Time ongoing .08 FTE, in Horsham
Your new role

Ensure that young people are connected to the services and supports that will enable them to develop the skills to live independently, access accommodation, appropriate education, mentoring, training and employment opportunities, and reconnect with family wherever possible.

You will support the use of the Better Futures independence tools, coach the young person to develop strong links with community-based providers in the area to explore connection or reconnection with significant family members.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications

  • A relevant Diploma or tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare Work or Social Sciences, or related discipline, is desirable but not essential.
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Experience in building positive relationships and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
