Are you a passionate claims superstar with a knack for exceptional customer service? AAMI is currently looking for dedicated individuals to join their team 12 month contract in Adelaide, where you'll deliver exceptional customer service while driving positive commercial outcomes.

As a CTP Claims Advisor, you'll help find solutions that set our customers on the path to a healthier, happier life.

What you'll do
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of claims, striving for timely resolutions that yield optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee the management and negotiation of pre-proceedings and litigated claims, ensuring effective communication with claimants and solicitors via phone, correspondence, and attendance at settlement conferences or hearings.
  • Implement comprehensive strategies for individual claims to minimise both duration and costs.
  • Continuously evaluate the quantum and estimates of claims based on available evidence and procedural requirements.
  • Operate within the designated Delegation of Authority framework.
  • Collaborate effectively with Injury Management and Technical Advisors to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Engage with relevant internal departments (e.g., Fraud and Investigations, Sharing & Recoveries, Resolution Services) to develop and execute action plans for file direction.
What you'll bring
  • Prior experience in CTP or workers' compensation is highly valued.
  • A genuine ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers is essential.
  • Experience in claims management is a significant advantage, along with any background in Allied Health or legal fields.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are a must-this includes listening actively, building rapport, and clearly conveying complex information while negotiating with claimants, third-party providers, external organizations, and internal teams.
  • Strong administrative and writing skills are important for effectively managing all aspects of each claim within the guidelines of SA State legislation.
  • A strong commitment to integrity and a passion for exceeding customer expectations are key to our success.
