Implementation Lead – Asset Management Optimisation – Initial 12-month contract
Our client, a leading organisation delivering essential services, is seeking an Implementation Lead to manage key transformation streams within the Asset Management Optimisation (AMO) project. This role will focus on delivering Works Management and Water Services initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of process improvements, organisational changes, and centralisation of operations.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of the Works Management and Water Services streams.
  • Develop and execute strategic implementation plans covering scope, governance, risks, issues and business changes.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentoring to project teams, including Business Analysts and Change Managers.
  • Engage and influence senior executives and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful transition.
  • Collaborate with Change Leads, HR and business leaders to develop workforce transition strategies.
  • Drive the adoption of best-practice governance, process improvements and performance tracking.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new ways of working, embedding cultural and behavioural change.
  • Deliver outcomes on time and within budget, ensuring benefits realisation across the program.
The role will be offered as an initial 12-month Day Rate contract with a flexible hybrid WFH agreement. There will also be a requirement to travel to Darwin with the rest of the team for 1 week every month, though all costs and allowances are covered.
The skills/experience needed will include but not be limited to:
  • Extensive experience leading major transformation projects, ideally in Asset Management or Utilities.
  • A proven track record in delivering large-scale organisational change.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence senior executives.
  • A deep understanding of project governance, business readiness and implementation strategies.
  • Experience in complex workforce transitions and embedding new ways of working.
  • Ability to drive and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Industry experience in utilities or similar sectors is advantageous.
