The Visitor Services Senior Officer role is bursting with excitement and adventure! Get ready to dive into an exhilarating winter season at Mt Hotham, where your passion for customer service and snow collide.
In this vibrant position, you'll be at the heart of action, providing essential information and support to visitors, stakeholders, and the community. With the magnificent Mt Hotham landscape as your backdrop, each day promises a new challenge.
You'll lead the dynamic Visitor Information team, coordinate daily tasks, and assist resort staff and guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all!
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist with management, leadership and organisation of daily tasks to ensure efficient operations of the Visitor Service Attendants
  • Provide excellent service to all visitors, stakeholders, and business operators by delivering friendly, helpful, and accurate information in response to a range of enquiries including resort permits
  • Attend and contribute to weekly operational meetings to ensure effective collaboration across the Visitor Experience department
  • Administer the sale of resort entry permits in line with ARV Mt Hotham policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to all resort management staff to underpin services provided by Mt Hotham resort
Skills, experience and qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in customer service, tourism or visitor information.
  • Prior experience leading a large team
  • Prior experience working in a team environment delivery quality work outcomes
  • Sound computer knowledge and administrative skills
  • Exception communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $41.79 p/h including casual loading

The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
  • Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
  • Available to work weekends and school holidays
  • Available from June to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)
