The Opportunity:
A full-time opportunity is available in Kingaroy with the highly respected Bean Growers Australia to set up and operate bagging machines to meet company standards for safety, quality, productivity and hygiene in the handling and storage of bulk grains and pulses.

The Requirements:
While training will be provided, preference will be shown to applicants who are able to demonstrate the following:
  • A proven safety focus in the workplace.
  • Current Forklift licence.
  • Minimum “C” class driver licence.
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Sound interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for shift work.
Other Requirements:
Although not essential requirements, the following will be a benefit:
  • Previous food industry experience.
  • Experience operating production machines.
  • Operating experience with Linde
  • Sound computer skills.
  • Work Safely at Heights certification.
  • Confined Spaces certification.
The Duties:
The duties that the successful applicant will be required to perform include:
  • Compliance with all workplace health and safety obligations
  • Set up of automatic bagging machines.
  • Monitor product and packaging quality standards.
  • Maintain bagging area hygiene.
  • Accurately report bag & pallet counts.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Report maintenance requirements of plant and equipment as needed.

Pre Employment Applicant Assessment:

Pay Rates:
Applicants will be appointed for a 38-hour week on a full-time basis and above Award pay rates, in accordance with the approved Collective Agreement, will be available to recognise the experience and skills of the successful applicant.
