Rural Generalist - Exmouth-Gascoyne Region (Dpa/Mmm7)

The Position
As a District Medical Officer (DMO) - Procedural / Non-Procedural in Exmouth in the Midwest region you will enjoy a varied scope of practice and provide comprehensive medical and community health services to a number of remote communities.

• Total Remuneration package up to $578k inclusive of 11.5% Super, PD allowance

• Rotational rosters - Full time (40hrs/week), part-time, sessional or FIFO rosters / On-call rosters
• Current ED skills and ALS2, ACLS, APLS, EMST/ATLS or GCCA essential
• Comprises GP clinic, emergency dept. and ward-based care
• GP clinics prebooked in advance
• 3-5 bedded ward for GP management
• X-rays, USS and pathology
• Onsite allied health and dental care

The Location
The Midwest/Gascoyne region is located in the northwest of Western Australia. It accounts for nearly one quarter of the state and services a catchment area of approx. 600,000 square kilometers. Exmouth has much to offer families and visitors alike with a range of schooling and day care options
