- Assistant Development Manager (ADM): $100k - $130k
- Development Manager (DM): $150k - $200k
- Senior Development Manager (SDM): $220k+
Roles & Responsibilities: Assistant Development Manager (ADM)
- Support project teams in the delivery of development projects, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Assist with the preparation of development plans , financial models, and market assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.
- Engage with key stakeholders , including internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure project alignment.
- Lead end-to-end development projects while working closely with external project managers for delivery.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and commercial aspects of development, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
- Identify and mitigate risks across all stages of the development lifecycle, proactively managing challenges and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Oversee leasing strategies , ensuring projects meet market demand and deliver strong returns on investment.
- Provide strategic input into site acquisition, design, planning, and execution.
- Drive high-level strategy for major projects, managing large-scale developments from start to finish.
- Lead commercial negotiations with key stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and tenants, ensuring value-driven outcomes.
- Mentor and guide teams , providing leadership and support to junior members of the development team.
- Ensure alignment with the company’s broader vision while managing risk and optimizing project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities and leasing agents, to maximize outcomes and ensure the long-term success of projects.
- Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of financial modeling, cost management, and project profitability.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the development process.
- Development Expertise: Experience in managing property development from concept through to completion (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Leasing Knowledge: Understanding tenant needs, market trends, and how to structure deals to achieve maximum value.
- Leadership: Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Execution-Focused: Demonstrated ability to identify what needs to be done and drive projects to completion.
- Degree or equivalent in Property, Construction Management, or a related field .
- Proven track record in property development with relevant experience at each career level.
- Strong understanding of project delivery and leasing processes.
