We are partnering with a trusted, longstanding client in the medical device manufacturing industry to offer a full-time, permanent opportunity. They are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to start immediately (flexible with notice periods). Known for their excellent employee engagement practices, the company is looking for an operator with experience in assembling mechanical and electrical devices.
The Role
As a successful Manufacturing Operator, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assembly and installation of of existing and future company robotic solutions
- Performing inspection, kitting, assembly, testing and service of devices
- Assist in the diagnostic of faulty products and conduct basic level of repairs
- Test & pack products in the established time frames
- Assist in final product release – Pre-QC
- Filling out the correct daily documentations
- Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy condition within the 5S guidelines
- Generate and maintain records/documentation required by ISO13485
- Location: Mascot
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Salary: $70,000 + superannuation
As a successful Manufacturing Operator, you will offer:
- Trade Qualification or similar experience in a workshop/assembly environment.
- Competency in troubleshooting and repair of automated – robotic instruments
- Demonstrated ability to set up work areas in accordance with GMP.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks to a standard within set deadlines.
- A working knowledge of OH&S as applied in manufacturing.
- Experience within a regulated industry with a working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
