About the Role
We are seeking an experienced sole pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy in Mount Beauty , an area well-known for its proximity to popular holiday destinations like Falls Creek and Mount Hotham Alpine Resort . The position offers a competitive starting rate of $55 per hour , with the potential for higher pay , accommodation assistance , and even a future partnership opportunity for the right candidate. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently and interacting with a diverse clientele, including tourists visiting the area.
With 100-140 scripts per day , this is a busy role where you’ll be using Z dispense and providing some pharmacotherapy , suboxone , and opioid treatment (but no methadone). Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, the schedule is flexible based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide expert patient care
• Provide pharmacotherapy , suboxone , and opioid treatment
• Interact with a diverse clientele , including tourists
• Maintain accurate prescription records and manage inventory
• Contribute to the smooth running of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations

What You’ll Need

• Previous Australian pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills to interact with both local clients and tourists
• Experience with Z dispense
• AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
• Ability to work independently as a sole pharmacist
