The Role
In this role, you’ll inspire and motivate a dedicated team, leveraging your deep pedagogical knowledge and experience in building strong relationships with children and families. Your responsibilities will include managing rosters, mentoring staff, overseeing daily routines, and implementing policies, all while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You will work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, Monday to Wednesday you will be on the floor teaching and Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to administrative duties.
You'll be supported by an experienced service administrator and a robust Education and Quality team, including an education support manager, learning and development facilitator, and other support services across the organization.
This is a 5-month parental leave cover position offering a competitive director's allowance, a monthly rostered day off, and the usual annual leave entitlements. At the conclusion of the contract there will be opportunities to join our permanent relief team or casual pool.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current Victorian Working With Children Check + Teachers Registration
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
