We are currently recruiting for an Underground Planner to be based out of Benalla or Wodonga. This role will be reporting Site Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Site Manager the Planner is required to provide effective coordination and utilisation of field resource teams, including subcontractors, to ensure works packages are completed within safety, time, cost and quality constraints inline with the clients requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Electrical Trade Certificate and/or Certificate of Technology or relevant experience in the area of overhead and underground electricity distribution preferred.
- Extensive successful underground planning experience. Distribution Network planning or overhead construction and maintenance experience preferable.
- Able and willing to devote most of their time to planning, able to identify where things could go wrong and initiate back up plans (Risk Management), effectiveness as a communicator (both written and verbal) and integrator. Flexibility and adaptability. Willing to make decisions, well organised and disciplined and able to maintain proper balance in the use of time. Able to balance technical solutions with time, cost and human factors, able to identify and organise resolution of problems. Commercial acumen.
