About the Role
Centrally located and close to multiple public transport routes. A great opportunity to increase your skills in a leadership capacity. You will provide a high standard of leadership, clinical support, and supervision to clinical staff based within the Continuing Care Team at Clarendon Clinic.
You will join a dynamic community mental health team operating under a recovery-oriented model of care, utilising the Strengths Model of Case Management.
- Work within the Strengths Model of recovery orientated practice providing supervision and leadership to clinical staff
- Work together with the Team Manager to provide operational oversight, and develop processes, which improve the delivery of clinical care to consumers and their families/carers
- When required, undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health related needs and their family/carers
Classification Range
- OT/SW Grade 3 YB24 - YB27 or YC46 - YC49 ($101,597 - $11,6074 per annum)
- Psychologist Grade 3 PL1 - PL4 ($108,279 - $123,905 per annum)
- RPN Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($112,465 - $121,113 per annum)
- Plus an over award amount (per annum) is attached on top of the base salary
Your Contribution
- Current registration with AHPRA (if relevant)
- A minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience for Nursing, and 7 years post qualification clinical experience for Allied Health within Mental Health Services
- Extensive experience in the provision of assessment, discipline specific intervention and case management services for consumers experiencing early psychosis, as well as providing appropriate support for their carers and families within a recovery framework
- Experience in providing clinical supervision and leadership to other mental health staff
- A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022 (including amendments) and other relevant legislation
- Current Victorian driver’s license
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

About the Mental Health Team
St. Vincent’s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.
The Continuing Care Teams provide ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who suffer with a serious mental illness and associated high level of disability. The multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recovery-focused Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice.
