Melbourne Full-day Full-time

Description:

Position Description: PC Learning Coach March 2025.docx

The Banks Organisational Capability Team aims to build the skills, knowledge and experience of our people in a working environment that is diverse and inclusive.

We achieve this through BEN U, our strategy and philosophy for learning. BEN U helps us build capability at individual, team and organisational levels using a range of contemporary channels and approaches.

We have an opportunity for a Learning Coach to join the team, full time for an 8-month secondment, with the potential of a permanent role. Reporting into the Lead Learning Coach, this role will act as an ambassador and key enabler for learning at the Bank.

As a Learning Coach, you’ll get to:

  • Facilitate face to face and virtual learning events, using engaging facilitation skills to actively involve people in learning and motivate them.
  • Support individuals to develop self-directed learning practice to drive independent, collaborative, and networked.
  • Join a tight knit passionate team to facilitate workplace coaching, helping to build a strong culture of learning at the bank.

As part of the Learning Channels and Ecosystem team, you’ll also have access to contemporary learning technologies to support both your work and own career development.

This role is based in our Melbourne Office. Whilst hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today, you’ll be required to come in into the office a minimum of two days per week (increasing to three days per week after 1st July 2025). Regular intrastate travel and some interstate travel will be required.

About you

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation through face-to-face and virtual learning, with the ability to structure, engage and present information clearly and interestingly to various audiences.
  • High quality coaching and consulting skills.
  • A genuine interest and drive in learning capability and delivery in the Bank.
  • Experience and knowledge of Bendigo Bank products and services.
  • Cert IV in Training and Education (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Coaching accreditation (highly desirable but not essential)

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury, or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.

Please note, all internal candidates are required to notify their immediate leader when applying for a new career opportunity and you will be asked to acknowledge you have done so upon submission of your application.

Please contact the Talent Acquisition Advisor for a confidential discussion if you would like to discuss the position further: Cat.Johnson@bendigoadelaide.com.au or Annie.geddes@bendigoadelaide.com.au

For more information, check out the Application Process for Internal Candidates page.

Still in two minds?

Research suggests 60% of women and underrepresented groups might stop here, even after getting as far as drafting an application. We believe that diversity makes every team stronger, so even if you don’t tick every box we still want to see your application!

Please note shortlisting and interviews may take place prior to the advertised close date, so don't delay: apply now!
