The Opportunity
We are seeking an inspiring and strategic Christian leader to serve as our Head of Faith & Community. Reporting to the Executive Principal, this role is responsible for strengthening CREST’s Christian ethos, leading faith formation initiatives, and fostering meaningful community engagement.
With an aim of commencing in January 2026, you will oversee chaplaincy, discipleship, service programs, and pastoral care, ensuring faith is authentically lived and integrated into all areas of school life. You will also build and maintain strong partnerships with churches, Christian organisations, and the wider community to enhance CREST’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Spiritual Leadership – Champion a Christ-centred culture, guiding and supporting staff and students in their faith journey.
- Faith Formation – Overall leadership of chaplaincy programs, devotions, worship experiences, and Christian education initiatives.
- Community Engagement – Strengthen partnerships with churches, ministries, and mission organisations.
- Pastoral Care – Support staff and student wellbeing through a biblical framework.
- Staff Development – Equip educators with the tools to integrate faith into teaching and leadership.
- Events & Mission – Oversee key Christian celebrations, service programs, and outreach initiatives.
About You
You are a passionate and theologically grounded Christian leader with:
- A deep, personal faith and a commitment to Christian education.
- Experience in pastoral leadership, chaplaincy, or Christian ministry.
- Strong theological knowledge and the ability to integrate faith into education.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A heart for mentoring and developing students and staff in their faith.
