Picton Concrete is seeking reliable and safety-focused HR Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers/Operators to join their team for an exciting new project partnering with a key mining customer in Menangle, in South West Sydney.
With a rolling shift pattern, this dual role might be the perfect one for you.

Work Shifts: Night Shift & weekends, working 12-hour shifts.

Location: Operating from the Picton Concrete plant, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the night to the site in Menangle

What you’ll be doing:
Drive and Deliver:
-
Provide high levels of customer service to our clients, becoming the face of our business.
-
Make multiple deliveries throughout the night from the Picton Concrete plant to the site in Menangle.
-
Report to the Plant Manager/Supervisor when delivering concrete.
Operator:
-
Perform various tasks and responsibilities associated with the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment.

Duties will be performed on-site in Menangle when concrete pours are not scheduled.
General Duties:
-
Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment.
-
Slump and deliver concrete to our customers.
-
Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck.

Perform housekeeping and yard duties.
-
Operate a Front End Loader (ticket preferred but can be offered to the right person).

Conduct sampling, record keeping, and testing in accordance with quality assurance standards.

Travel with other team members between sites when required.

Participate in an in-depth training program.
About you:
-
Truck Licence: Minimum HR class drivers licence (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)

White Card: Hold a current valid Construction White Card, or be willing to obtain one before you start.

Customer Service: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and providing great results.

Team Player: Able to multi-task and work well in a team.

Safety: Excellent health and safety behaviours.

Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal).

Fitness: Physically fit.

Drivers Licence: A current NSW driver’s licence.

Willingness to Learn: Eager to learn and grow.

Front-End Loader Ticket: Highly regarded.

Medical: Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites).
