Camberwell Grammar School is an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English and History Teacher to join our Middle and Senior School teams, in a progressive, supportive and well-resourced educational environment.
You will be responsible for teaching English and History classes across Years 7 to 10, alongside a supportive and experienced team of educators. The ability to teach VCE English Language Units 1 and 2 is also required.
This is a full time, fixed term contract for Terms 3 and 4, 2025, commencing on 21 July 2025 and concluding on 12 December 2025.
In addition, all teaching staff are required to participate in minor co-curricular involvement, such as Year Level Camps and our Friday Activities Program. This role will also include pastoral care responsibilities.

You are a passionate, outstanding educator who can lead by example and model exceptional practice. You are an expert in your field and have excellent knowledge of current curriculum approaches and sound teaching practices. You have a genuine passion for fostering inclusivity and ensuring all students have equal opportunities to thrive.
You will also have:
- Relevant teaching qualifications
- Certificate of Teacher Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with students, staff and parents
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills coupled with adaptability to deal with the unexpected
- Experience in the delivery of pastoral, academic and co-curricular programs and fostering a dynamic learning community committed to the development of the whole person
