Valley Group Community Bank is seeking a Senior Branch Manager for our branches in Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek, Eltham, Doreen, and Kinglake.

The Lending Hub is located at Diamond Creek, and it’s an exciting time to join as we expand our community engagement and drive lending growth in the Northeast suburbs .

You will utilise your proven lending skills not only to lead a high performing lending team, but also train and coach our up-and-coming lenders, a team currently consisting of 5.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Lending Knowledge: A deep understanding of lending practices and regulations to guide the team effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Being a motivator, influencer, and role model for the lending team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Coaching Skills: Ability to train and develop new and existing lenders, helping them achieve their goals and improve their performance.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential for building strong relationships with customers and team members alike.
- Business Development: A talent for identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and drive lending growth.

Coaching and developing competencies in your team across multiple locations. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll proactively work with your team to help them achieve their performance and career development goals

Prioritising business performance through tracking KPIs, reporting, creating strategic plans, plus collaborating and sharing knowledge with others in your wider team

Working closely with the Community Bank board to build and nurture community relationships, being the face of our brand, actively participating in events and establishing yourself as the go to person for banking in our region

Leading by example. You’ll prioritise the customer experience, and aren’t afraid to step in wherever the branches need you

This is a permanent, full-time position, The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.
