The Role
We are seeking experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our civil team in a large-scale Solar Farm installation on the outskirts of Horsham. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of a fleet of machines, such as:
– Skid Steer Operators
– Grader Operators
– Roller Operators
– Light Vehicles
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diesel equipment and related systems on various heavy vehicles and machinery
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Maintain all PSD Energy vehicles, specialist machinery, and plant according to manufacturer specifications.
Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Strong understanding of site safety protocols and manual handling techniques.
• Ability to follow site instructions.
• High level of reliability and commitment to safety standards.
