Key Role PurposeThe successful applicant will work with diverse client groups in order to contribute sound human resource advice to the management team and assist in the delivery of business goals, objectives and operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Manager has a key role in accelerating Oracle’s business transformation and customer success by focusing on our people. In this role, the Human Resources (HR) Manager works closely with assigned Oracle business leaders and employees to support, coach and advise on all aspects of HR including: -
- Partner with Oracle business units to deliver local, regional and divisional HR activities, in regard to people initiatives, policies and processes in line with Oracle business requirements and country Labor Laws/legislation
- Proactively support, guide and coach Oracle managers and employees on all HR related programs and matters. Equip our people leaders and managers to be inclusive, effectively engage with their people and create agile, high performing teams
- Aligns HR strategies and insight with business goals and actively develops initiatives and approaches to achieve and deliver on these
- Develops and maintains strong reciprocal partnerships with key stakeholders within Human Resources and the business to deliver on HR initiatives, processes and goals. Ensures active collaboration with these stakeholders and shares information and best practices to optimize work results
- Take a proactive role in our HR Global priorities and business initiatives, at a local and regional level, ensuring that the HR value is created through strategic insight, service excellence and business alignment
- Provide country-based HR support in relation to workforce planning and the employee lifecycle including: onboarding, retention, development, and off-boarding
- Actively champion, prioritise and implement the employee experience across HR engagements, contributing to evolving our employee’s connection, productivity, and retention so our people are ready, willing, and empowered to perform at their best
- Proactively work to resolve employee / and or management concerns as required, as well as manage employee relations issues, resolve employee concerns and manage escalations
- When required, investigate ER complaints and issues and maintain compliance of Oracle policies. Liaise with Employee Relations team, Employment Legal and Compliance as required
- Proactively use system and resources to prepare, analyse, and provide HR related data insights & solutions to the business to drive continuous improvement
- Ability to understand business needs and timings in order to develop and present on a regular basis to dedicated client group on HR related matters
- Participate/lead initiatives/HR projects (as required), link and measure HR deliverables with the business results
- Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives, organizational change, talent management, performance management programs, acquisitions and training as required
- Performs role to the competency target levels required

- Keen problem-solving mindset with a flair to think differently and propose diverse solutions
- Good understanding of the HR legal and compliance landscape from a country standpoint
- Knowledge of databases, or reporting tools, or previous experience of statistical analysis as well as awareness of OD related diagnostic tools & its applications of varying proficiencies relevant to the role and workforce related data insights
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to make timely and effective decisions by assessing risk, evaluating alternatives, and applying judgment
- Ability to work independently on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible
- Driven by standards of excellence and committed to continuous improvement
