The company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their expanding Business Advisory division in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file income tax returns, business activity statements, and fringe benefits tax returns.
- Offer advice on tax-related matters such as GST, CGT, and FBT.
- Create clear and organised work papers to document tasks completed.
- Understand the client’s business environment and their position in the industry.
- Support and mentor graduates, providing guidance and assistance.
- Prepare special purpose financial statements following legal and accounting standards.
- Organize documents for client meetings with Partners.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues.
- Prepare and review management accounting reports.
- Provide business advisory services and support to various clients.
- Proficient in Australian taxation laws and regulations.
- Holds a Business/Commerce degree with a focus on accounting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
