We are seeking a skilled and motivated Steel MIG Welder for our client based near Dee Why. The ideal candidate will have completed their apprenticeship, possess a Certificate III in Engineering/Fabrication, and have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a MIG Welding role. The role involves working on architectural steelworks for residential clients, and proficiency in both MIG and Stick welding techniques is essential. Rigging experience is very desirable .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MIG and Stick welding on steel materials for residential architectural projects
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ensure all welding meets safety, quality, and architectural standards
- Maintain and clean welding equipment
- Assist with rigging tasks as required (if applicable)
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines
Profile
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering/Fabrication (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Driver's License (essential)
- HR/MR Licenses (desirable)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in MIG Welding (essential)
- Completed Apprenticeship in Welding or Fabrication (essential)
- Rigging experience (very desirable)
