As a Cook you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Yennora.

St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141-bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydney's CBD.

This is a permanent part time opportunity with shifts available on Sat, Sun, Mon & Tue, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Things that work for us:

  • Qualification in Commercial Cooking.
  • Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals. Aged care &/or hospital experience desirable.
  • Flexibility to produce special dietary requirements – knowledge of aged care related nutrition and special diets for health advantageous.
  • Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning
  • Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
  • Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
  • Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Our kitchen operates seven (7) days a week and as such, the successful applicant will need to be flexible in their availability across the week, for both AM and PM shifts.
