Summary:
Hakka, Australia’s leading manufacturer of fine Asian cuisine has been successfully servicing the Australian Grocery and Food Service channels nationally and overseas for over 40 years. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Brand Assistant to join our team. The Brand Assistant will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, managing social media accounts, conducting market research, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling Email, Conversational Marketing, Chat Marketing, Messaging and SMS marketing campaigns using CRM tools.
- Analyze and report on campaign data for continuous improvement.
- Develop and update website content, including e-newsletters, banners, blog posts, events, and new product pages.
- Ensure all third-party websites (excluding customer portals requiring pricing master data) contain accurate and updated product and brand information.
- Plan & execute engaging promotional campaigns on social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain a social media calendar.
- Create and manage social media content (videos, posts, images, captions).
- Design eye-catching visuals and edit short videos.
- Track and measure the ROI of marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal allocation of marketing budgets.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and derive key learnings.
- Monitor brand health through key metrics such as brand awareness, market share, and customer perception.
- Utilise analytical tools to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with New Product Development projects
- Coordinate and attend marketing events and trade shows
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed
About You :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing or related role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in creative design tools (e.g. Canva) and social media platform management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in using AI tools to streamline workflows, generate creative content, and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Graphic design skills (e.g. basic Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) and InDesign experience are a plus.
- Sound English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write and translate from English to Chinese being an asset.
- Ability to speak in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.
