About The Role
As the People & Culture (P&C) Administration Officer , you’ll play a vital role in supporting the P&C team with the administration of people processes across UPA. You’ll be the first point of contact for employee and manager enquiries, provide key administrative support across HR functions, and contribute to projects that enhance our employee experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the P&C inbox, ensuring timely responses and escalation where needed
- Supporting managers and employees with P&C-related queries
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding administration
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy
- Preparing contracts, variation letters, and other employment documentation
- Supporting key P&C projects, including staff surveys and service awards
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes
About You
You are proactive, organised, and thrive in an administrative role that allows you to support both people and processes. Your strong communication and time-management skills help you juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Desirable:
- Experience in HR/P&C or a similar function
- Knowledge of HR systems (Chris21, PageUp, or similar)
- Experience in the aged care or not-for-profit sector
