As the Medical Science Liaison within our Respiratory Medical team, you’ll engage with healthcare professionals, institutions and payers, in a non- promotional manner, to identify and address their needs. You will use your scientific expertise to communicate and form partnerships to deliver the medical strategy, capture actionable insights and ultimately improve patient pathways and outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

To build and develop enduring value-based trusted partnerships, through scientific engagement and exchange, with healthcare professionals and institutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment

To engage proactively and reactively with healthcare professionals, payers and institutions.

To execute the Country Medical Plan.

To generate actionable and valuable insights and propose solutions.
-
To create cross functional partnerships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
-
All MSLs comply with the local and corporate compliance frameworks for external and internal interactions and complete all global/local mandatory trainings.
-
Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or Master's) in medical or life sciences.
-
Experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
-
Recent experience in the field of Dermatology. Additional Immunology experience would be an advantage.

Experience in launching new products, particularly complex medicines in specialty therapeutic areas.

High level of scientific acumen, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

Effective scientific/medical stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate scientific data into appropriate clinical discussions supporting medical strategy.

Effective leadership skills (by example and through accomplishments), including strong interpersonal and cross-functional skills, communication skills, self-awareness, and clarity of purpose.

Ability to readily acquire high-level scientific and clinical understanding of new therapeutic area(s), medical practices, clinical cases, and disease management best practices.

Deep understanding and knowledge of local regulations and codes of practice for pharmaceutical industry, as they apply to the non-promotional activities of this role.

High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems, the evolving medical landscape, regulatory and payer environment, public health and industry trends.

Must be currently based or planning to relocate to Sydney.
