What’s on offer?

We have an opportunity for a Spray Seal Crew Member to join our Infrastructures Services team based in Rutherford. As part of this role, you will be required to work weekends and work away from home as required. Our goal is to create a highly skilled team who will deliver quality spray seal projects to a diverse client portfolio within the region, with a strong focus on our “Living Safely” culture and REAL values.

How you’ll connect to the role?

We're looking for candidates who have Spray Seal and/or Asphalt Industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry. Candidates will need to have:

To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience;

  • Hold a current Car licence for at least 2 years or Hold a current MR,HR or HC Licence;
  • Have relevant industry cards, e.g. Construction Induction Card;
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Possess a strong commitment to safety;
  • Someone who enjoys an outdoor working environment;
  • While not essential, it is advantageous if you;
    • Have previous experience in the civil or road construction industry;
    • Are available for weekends, or to live and travel away from home as required;
    • Have licence(s) on mobile plant, e.g. roller or front end loader;
    • Spotters, First Aid; Traffic Control.

How you’ll connect to the role?

  • Previous experience in Infrastructure Maintenance beneficial;
  • Hold a Construction Induction Card (White card);
  • Hold any valid tickets for your relevant area of expertise;
  • Be willing to be flexible and adaptable for a multitude of tasks;
  • Possess a strong commitment to safety;
  • Be available to work overtime as required;
  • Be available for call-out work when required (day, night and on weekends);
  • Be a strong team player, reliable and hard-working.
