We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Office Manager to oversee financial operations, administration, and compliance. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our centre while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

About the Role

As the Finance and Office Manager, you will:

✔ Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

✔ Ensure compliance with tax obligations, funding applications, and industry regulations.

✔ Lead and support the administrative team, fostering a positive and efficient office environment.

✔ Collaborate with the Director and Board of Directors to develop financial strategies for long-term success.

✔ Manage enrolments, occupancy, and family accounts to support smooth day-to-day operations.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an individual who is:

✔ Experienced in financial management, accounting, or business administration (minimum 3 years).

✔ Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related Field

✔ Understanding of compliance requirements in the childcare industry.

✔ Highly organised with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

✔ Proficient in financial software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

✔ A team player who can communicate effectively with staff, families, and external stakeholders.

✔ Passionate about working in a childcare or community-focused environment.

Desirable:

✔ Experience in the childcare or not-for-profit sector and knowledge of childcare funding, subsidies, and government grants.

✔ Experience in HR and office management processes.
