About the Role
Masada College is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant and Student Learning Hub Coordinator. This role is full-time, fixed term, commencing ASAP and ending at the end of Term 4, 2025. The successful candidate is required to work through the Term 2 and Term 3 school holidays to run study sessions for the 2025 HSC Students.
Salary ranges between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and years of experience as per the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 (currently under re-negotiation). It is important to note that this salary is unaveraged and the final salary will be adjusted to account for the school holidays when this role is stood down.
This role will support and assist teachers and learning support staff through the provision of planned and coordinated programs tailored for the behavioural, academic, socio-emotional and spiritual development of students with diverse learning needs, while also being the heart of our Senior School Learning Hub – organising study sessions, managing the HSC holiday study program, managing book loans and returns.

- An understanding and ability to support the teaching of the NSW Curriculum
- The initiative and ability to scaffold and differentiate tasks to assist classroom teachers
- To provide support with the preparation and sourcing of learning resources and assessment for students whose current achievement is significantly below their current stage of schooling
- To manage all aspects of our Learning Hub, behaviour management, handling book loans and returns, creating and managing student study sessions being responsible for the ongoing operations in the Learning Hub.
