About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our Digital Service department. This role is a short term fixed term opportunity to cover paternity leave this role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, as the Cyber Threat Intelligence Senior Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing and continually developing the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability functions within the Digital Resilience team, working closely with the Cyber Operations team and the wider Digital Services enterprise. This role includes managing Cyber Threat implications within Essential Energy that relate to identifying threats and any vulnerabilities that could lead to a risk exposure that impacts business operations
About You
You will have proven experience in leading Cyber Intelligence capabilities and in stakeholder relationship management which includes effective communication, both verbal and written to senior management and staff relating to security information. You will have demonstrated experience working in Cyber Security and will be aware of Cybersecurity trends and issues. You stay up to date and are well connected in the cyber industry, are well read on emerging and realised cyber threats and industry concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Commerce or Humanities or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Desired
- Pen testing and Vulnerability Certifications such as GIAC GPEN or GEVA or OSCP, CREST
- Security professional certifications such as CySA+, CASP+, Security+
- Any professional Cyber Intelligence qualifications such as CTIA
