About The Role
The Yardperson will support our Narrabri Coal Mining Operations by being responsible for undertaking tasks and activities to support the safe and efficient operation of the Plant Store.
What You’ll Do
- Safe unloading of items from suppliers/transport companies including the checking and signing of associated delivery dockets
- Loading of bolt and mesh pods including the preparation of secondary support pods
- Conduct stock control tasks, including stock count, location of stock, identification of obsolete stock
- Ensure that outside yard area is kept clear of obstructions and hazards through appropriate housekeeping
- Housekeeping and cleaning of current storage areas
- Assist the Storepersons and Purchasing Officer as required
