Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fuel Logistics Manager to oversee fuel supply operations, stockpile management, and fleet coordination at our Vales Point Power Station. This is a strategic leadership role with direct impact on operational efficiency and business performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of Mobile Coal Plant Operators, Biomass Loader Drivers, and the Fleet Coordinator
- Oversee coal and biomass stockpiles, ensuring safe and efficient storage and supply
- Manage supplier relationships and fuel supply contracts to ensure continuity of operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for weighbridges, coal samplers, and fuel logistics
- Develop and implement stockpile management strategies to optimise safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on fuel supply improvements and cost optimisations
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in fuel logistics, supply chain management, or heavy industry operations
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in an operational environment
- Knowledge of power generation, coal handling, and fuel storage best practices
- Expertise in contract management, tendering, and supplier negotiations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to develop strategic solutions
- Technical knowledge of fuel compliance, asset management, and maintenance coordination
