OUR ROLE

In April 2025, xAmplify will be kicking off an exciting ServiceNow engagement, that will see us partner with a new client to deliver a unique implementation and transformation. This project will be a key foundation of our ServiceNow capability therefore, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager to partner with us to manage and deliver this dynamic engagement.

From day 1, you will jump right in, roll up your sleeves and demonstrate your ability to:

  • Deliver end-to-end project management activities, from initiation and day to day implementation delivery, to post-go-live support
  • Oversee delivery to key project timelines, schedules and milestones, ensuring alignment to project scope
  • Maintain a strong focus on high quality project activities and deliverables
  • Manage the associated project budget ensuring all forecasts and reporting are completed and updated on a regular basis
  • Prepare and maintain core project artefacts and documentation
  • Partner with the ServiceNow team and our National Resource Manager to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Implement and oversee governance and risk frameworks and reporting, ensuring regular identification and mitigation strategies for any and all project risks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes
  • Complete regular status reports and project reporting to both the xAmplify team and key client stakeholders
  • Oversee the day-to-day activity of the projects Scrum Master and their associated activities
  • Collaborate and engage with key client stakeholders to ensure project alignment and effective communication to drive delivery and project excellence

KEY DETAILS

  • We are seeking candidates with full Australian working rights – citizenship, permanent residency or applicable visa
  • This role will be available for a full time, 18-month contract commencing from mid-April 2025
  • Salary details = $180,000.00 per annum including superannuation
  • This role is based in Sydney, NSW, therefore we are seeking candidates based in this location only
  • This role will operate in a hybrid model from the xAmplify Sydney office (located in the CBD) and/or client site (located in Parramatta), whilst also providing you the opportunity to work from home. There will be a requirement to attend client site on a regular basis each week. Additional time on client site will be required in the first weeks of this engagement to build connection and engagement with key stakeholders.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager role, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you have shown your ability to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle including planning, forecasting, budgets and delivery
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile (Scrum, SaFE), PRINCE2 / MSP
  • Experience working within a large multi-team, technology project will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in or strong knowledge of ServiceNow will be highly regard, but is also not a deal breaker if your experience in technology projects is extensive
  • Excellent communication skills – including written, verbal and presentation as you will be developing reports, presenting at key meetings
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence is desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrated stakeholder and client engagements skills, with the ability to deal with various stakeholders and translate their needs into a complete solution
  • A high level of organisation, time management with the ability to adapt and respond promptly to changing and competing priorities at short notice
  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think laterally and propose solutions
  • Excellent client relationship building and management skills, with the ability to deal with various stakeholders and translate their needs into a complete solution
  • Self-starting, with the ability to drive your own actions, whilst also working as part of a team
