The Director of Global Operations and Emerging Markets is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing global operational functions, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives. This position plays a pivotal role in planning policies, setting standards, and managing operational frameworks to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director collaborates with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Research, Sales, and Product, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of BeeHero's technology, platforms, and products, ensuring that operational decisions align with product capabilities and customer needs. The Director is also responsible for high-level administrative planning, policy development, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making to drive growth in global and emerging markets, with a strong focus on Australia and the broader APAC region.

This position will be based in Australia, supporting operational expansion while maintaining global oversight. The Director will also represent BeeHero in industry negotiations, conventions, and partnerships to support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Policy Development

• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and growth.
• Establish key performance metrics and operational standards to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Assess changing situations, market conditions, and emerging trends to adjust operational strategies accordingly.
• Lead and coordinate global and regional operational policies to maintain consistency across markets.
  
  

Australia and APAC Market Focus

• Develop and execute a localized operational strategy for the Australian market, ensuring market-specific needs are met while maintaining alignment with global standards.
• Serve as the primary operational leader for BeeHero in Australia, ensuring smooth expansion and operational readiness in the region.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with Australian beekeepers, industry stakeholders, and key vendors to facilitate growth and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with local Australian regulations and industry standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for Australian operations, ensuring that customer support, field operations, and logistics are seamlessly managed.

• Direct and manage global field operations, ensuring effective hardware production, maintenance, logistics, and implementation.
