Job Title: Business Development Manager (Loan Origination)

This is an exceptional opportunity to be a foundational member of fast-growing, high-performance sales team and to leverage of the existing established high calibre broker network.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and grow the broker network from consistent and measurable sales activities.
• Originate new lending opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to structure and negotiate loan terms that align with both client needs and company policies.
• Maintain and strengthen key relationships with brokers and other referral partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
• Be an advocate for Capspace to your network and the industry including attending industry networking event
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in commercial lending, with a focus on SME clients.
• Proven experience in sales and business development, including the capability to complete cold calling and build relationships quickly.
• Proven track record in sales and activity management, including the use of CRM to record and maintain accurate records of this activity throughout the sales process.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using financial software and CRM systems.
