Our centralised Residential Aged Care rostering team is growing, creating a new opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Workforce Rostering Support Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of this collaborative and supportive team, you will report to the Workforce Rostering Specialist.

To be considered, you must have demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling and be proficient with Humanforce.

The purpose of your role will be to manage the implementation of the workforce strategic plan within Humanforce, coordinating the master rosters for our residential aged care homes in line with the approved labour budget. Your strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills will aid your success in this integral role.

Your days will include;

  • Managing design and maintenance of the master roster for 10 residential aged care homes
  • Ensuring the master roster is maintained within the scope of the approved labour budget
  • Ensuring each employee’s rostered hours reflect their contracted hours
  • Managing and preparing the rosters on a fortnightly basis, ensuring all shifts are filled
  • Liaison and collaboration with recruiters to ensure recruitment activities are aligned with master roster vacancies
  • Providing regular reporting and analysis on workforce utilisation - overtime, use of agency, etc
  • Facilitation of regular Teams meetings with key stakeholders across the business
  • Delivering training on Humanforce and rostering practices

The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a curious and driven approach, and an analytical mindset focused on solutions and achieving results. Additionally, you will have;

  • Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications (eg. Diploma of Business Administration)
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Agreements or Modern Awards (Aged Care Award & Nurses Award)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar rostering/scheduler role – Essential
  • Ability to facilitate training on rostering practices and Humanforce.
  • Previous experience using Humanforce rostering time and attendance system - Essential
  • Previous experience generating, interpreting and providing commentary on data reports
  • Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi- disciplinary team
  • Ability to travel to RAC Homes on occasion – vehicle & drivers licence preferred
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
