Position Overview:
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our team in covering the Central Coast and Newcastle regions. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with our customers ensuring they have the necessary product samples, brochures, and point-of-sale materials according to Caesarstone’s brand guidelines. You’ll work closely to support our Area Sales Managers with updating samples, providing product updates, answering basic design queries, and escalating more complex questions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with retailers, architects and designers in your designated region.
- Maintain and manage your customer portfolio through a call-cycle plan to ensure customers have up-to-date and consistent branded POS materials in alignment with Caesarstone brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to optimise and ensure customers have adequate POS materials such as samples, brochures, and information as per the Caesarstone brand guidelines.
- Provide information to your customer portfolio on product knowledge to enhance their experience and usage of our products.
- Collect and relay information on product performance, competitor activity, and market trends to the sales team and management.
- Regularly maintain outcomes of client visits in the CRM system.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while carrying out merchandising activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
This role is open to candidates with varying levels of merchandiser experience. You will receive comprehensive brand training to help you excel in delivering our service standards. This is a customer-centric role, so excellent interpersonal skills and your ability to build relationships with clients will be key to your success. Regular travel across the Central Coast and Newcastle region is required and candidates must have a current unrestricted licence. You will receive a fully expensed company vehicle for travel requirements.
