- Take ownership of insurance jobs from commencement to completion
- Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
- Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable events
- Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
- Liaise between clients & insurance companies
- Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
- Attend & contribute to meetings
- Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
- Dispute / issue resolution, as required
- Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed off
- Ensure purchase order processes are followed
- Review monthly job cost reports
- Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed at all times
- Strong background in construction or supervising construction projects
- Relevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentry
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Relationship building skills
- Ability to delegate and manage multiple projects and completing priorities
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the clients and customers
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations and current market rates/trades
- Current motor vehicle licence
- Must have a QBCC
