We are currently recruiting for a skilled Payroll Officer to join a new client in Paget, QLD .
Key Responsibilities include:
- Fortnightly payroll processing including reconciliations for 5 different entities.
- Making sure all contracts and current employee details are saved in OneDrive.
- Issuing Letter of Offers and Employment Parks as requested, using the Citation HR Portal.
- Enter Apprentice hours in for TAPS.
- Organize training for Staff and Site Personnel
- Manage employment documents and registers for all staff.
- First point of contact for Employee queries.
- Training Matrix Management
- Making sure inductions are sent to employees.
- Organizing Staff Review documentation with Management and keep records accordingly
- QLeave Lodgments
Position Details:
- Monday - Wednesday roster
- Hours: 8:30am to 3:00pm
- Temp to Perm opportunity
- Potential for hours to increase
The successful applicant must have
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport
- Previous payroll experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with MYOB Accountright/EXO Business
- Understanding of relevant payroll legislation and taxation requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug screen
