The Opportunity

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement? We are seeking a Procurement Support Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of supplier databases, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use Microsoft Office , especially Excel , to manage and analyze procurement data.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases while ensuring compliance with policies and audits.
  • Verify and manage supplier details in Ellipse and IRIS .
  • Ensure supplier licenses and insurances are current, providing reports on any suspensions or cancellations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to industry stakeholders.
  • Handle correspondence , including calls and inquiries, in a timely manner.
  • Review and update procedures, guidelines, and forms while maintaining document control.
  • Generate and distribute reports as needed.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting performance targets.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Support a positive team culture , showing professionalism and initiative.
  • Assist with inquiries in the absence of senior staff, ensuring timely responses.

About You

  • Previous experience in similar type role
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
