Description
We have twoexciting opportunities available for a Leading Hand and 2IC to join our dynamic production team based in Carole Park. You’ll play a key role in supporting or production facility, closely working with the Production Supervisor to drive efficiency, and ensure targets are met.

Hours:
Monday to Friday – 5:00am to 1:00pm
2IC
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the leading hand in managing tasks and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Oversee activities, provide guidance, and enforce safety and quality standards.
- Track team progress, identify areas for improvement, and submit reports.
- Assist in onboarding and ongoing skill development of team members.
- Liaise with departments, manage inventory, and uphold company policies.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred) and previous supervisory experience.
- Treat safety as non-negotiable, take ownership, and hold team members accountable.
- Have the courage to make decisions, challenge the status quo, and actively investigate and resolve production issues.
- Maintain open communication, provide constructive feedback, and support teams across shifts.
- Lead by example, empower and motivate others, and uphold quality and efficiency standards.
Leading Hand
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Supervise and communicate effectively with production teams during shifts to maintain smooth operations.
- Encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and process enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.
- Lead by example in promoting workplace safety, adhering to WHS standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, DA, SQF).
- Assist teams in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring adherence to procedures, and resolving production issues promptly.
- Provide support in meeting business needs, covering staff absences when required, and ensuring production goals are achieved.
Skills And Experiences
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in preferably in an FMCG environment
- Take ownership, make confident decisions, and challenge the status quo when needed.
- Treat safety as a priority and lead by example in creating a safe work environment
- Engage openly with all team members, provide feedback, and support teams across shifts.
- Delegate tasks effectively and hold team members accountable.
