Programmed are looking for a Team Leader to join our dedicated Woodridge mobile crew, committed to delivering exceptional maintenance services for our valued clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of horticultural workers, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to help team members develop their skills and achieve their potential.
- Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
- Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
- Implement mulching and planting programs.
- Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
- Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
- Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
- Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
- Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment.
About You
To join our team, you will have a qualification or experience in horticulture, parks and gardens, gardening, or landscaping, with a passion for providing quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have:
- A current driver's license and white card.
- A chemical certificate (desirable).
- A professional approach to the workplace.
- The ability to execute work to a high standard.
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
