The Opportunity The Junior Production Associate will play a critical role in supporting the production team by managing key processes and ensuring smooth execution of tasks within the production cycle. Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the print queue with suppliers, ensuring all print requirements are clear and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate sample requests, approvals, and dispatches between suppliers and internal teams.
- Track production milestones, ensuring all processes stay on schedule.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, acting as a point of contact for day-to-day production queries.
- Address any quality control or production-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Update and maintain production trackers, ensuring accurate records of orders, timelines, and costs.
- Prepare and distribute production documents, such as tech packs, purchase orders, and shipping instructions.
- Assist with managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with suppliers.
- Report and document any defects or discrepancies in production batches.
- Work closely with the design, buying, and logistics teams to align production goals with broader business objectives.
- Provide support during fittings, photoshoots, and other cross-functional activities as needed.
- 1-2 years of experience in fashion production or a related role is preferred, but entry-level candidates with relevant education or internships will also be considered.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and quality.
- Familiarity with production processes, including garment construction and print techniques (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production software tools.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.
