Are you ready to love what you do? Artemus Group is seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer, part-time (5 days: 25-30 hours per week) to join our expanding team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer and collaborating with the wider HR team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll function across multiple business entities. This key role ensures smooth payroll processing while also supporting the HR team with team-related administration.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll for a selection of business entities
- Reviewing/auditing time & attendance in Humanforce
- Updating and maintaining accurate payroll records
- Investigating, resolving, and responding to payroll-related queries
- Generating and undertaking required payroll-related reporting
- Payroll administration, including setting up new starters/data changes/promotions
- Managing superannuation payments and Single Touch Payroll (STP)
- Completing End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) payroll processing
- Adhering to all legislation relating to payroll
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Comprehensive and proven knowledge of payroll and time & attendance systems
- High level of numerical ability and strong data entry skills
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
- In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes (e.g. payroll tax, superannuation)
- Ability to interpret Awards and relevant legislation
- Ability to work as part of a team, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of the confidential nature of payroll and HR information
