We are looking for a Principal Advisor Asset Data and Information to provide thought-leadership and lead technical communities that are focused on defining the processes and practices and deploying technologies to ensure that asset-related data and information is accurate, accessible, and effectively utilized to optimise the management of physical assets throughout their lifecycle.

Reporting to the General Manager Asset Management Data & Technology and working in a collaborative global community within the Rio Tinto Asset Management group, you will be:

Leading the development and implementation of asset data management strategies and frameworks.

Ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and security of asset-related data across the organisation.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and standardise data management processes and practices.

Driving the adoption of innovative technologies and tools to enhance data management capabilities.

Providing thought leadership and guidance to technical communities focused on asset data management.

Monitoring and analyzing data quality and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Supporting the integration of data management systems with other business processes and systems.

Mentoring and developing team members to build a high-performing asset data management team.
