The role:

We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Moreton Bay, specifically in areas such as Deception Bay, Morayfield, Bald Hills, Brendale, Rothwell and Strathpine. In this role, you will provide tailored, person-centered support to our participants, helping them live independently, participate in community activities, and reach their personal goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients to start their day and engaging in daily community-based activities.
  • Following personalized care plans using a person-centered approach.
  • Providing personal care assistance, including positioning and transferring, operating a hoist, showering, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  • Performing a range of domestic duties, such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and other household chores.
  • Assisting with transportation, attending appointments, and running errands.
  • Adhering to all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the NDIS Code of Conduct and Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards, ensuring that all practices meet legal and safety requirements.

Role requirements:

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts covering mornings, afternoons and sleepovers both in-home and the community.
  • A passion for providing personalised, inclusive support to individuals with disabilities, some complex.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening card and Working With Children card.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A driver licence, access to a suitable car, and comprehensive car insurance (as employees may be required to transport clients).
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
